The New Jersey Primary Election is being held on Tuesday, June 6. Schools that are polling locations have been encouraged to pivot to virtual instruction (within the parameters of N.J.S.A. 18A:7f-9) due to the number of individuals entering our facilities.

There are 11 schools within our district that are designated polling locations and will be operating in a virtual environment on Tuesday, June 6. Please see the list of schools below. If your school is not listed, you will have in-person instruction.

  • Dr. Crosby Copeland Jr. Elementary School
  • Gregory Elementary School
  • Mott Elementary School
  • Robeson Elementary School
  • Stokes Elementary School
  • Washington Elementary School
  • Hedgepeth-Williams Intermediate School
  • Joyce Kilmer Intermediate School
  • Grace A. Dunn Middle School
  • Holland Middle School
  • Trenton Central High School

Only schools designated as polling locations were approved to be virtual by the NJDOE. For the schools listed above, instruction will be conducted virtually and students will follow their normal full-day schedule. Homeroom teachers more information via email as well as place it in their ClassDoJo/Google Classrooms.

On Monday, June 5, students who will be virtual on Tuesday, will receive a grab-and-go meal kit (including breakfast, lunch, and a snack) upon dismissal.

The safety of our students and staff is our top priority. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you all have a great weekend.

Sincerely,

James Earle
Superintendent
Trenton Public School District
