TPS Combats Ongoing Staff Shortages

The Trenton Public School District like many districts throughout the state and country are working to combat staff shortages. The human resources team at TPS is working to reduce staffing shortages within the school district by expanding its recruiting efforts. Strategies like participating in virtual and in-person career fairs, engaging in small groups, and one-to-one chat and chew sessions. The HR team is participating in in-person and virtual career fairs allowing the district to recruit candidates from all over the country.

TPS Launches New Website

Trenton Public Schools launch website in a greater effort to change how we as a district communicate with our families, staff, students and the community. The district has been working for the past year to clean up existing information and update the website. The old website included years of outdated information, which made it difficult for families and the community to navigate and find school and district information.
